SUMMARY:Skeet Decathlon #5: Sub Gauge
DESCRIPTION:In this event we will shoot two rounds of regular skeet (50 shots total) but you must use a shotgun of 20 gauge or less.\n\nSome of you shoot 7/8 oz shot or less in a 12g but for this event\, find a partner to share or borrow a gun of 20g or less.\n\nThose who shoot both rounds with 28g will get one bonus point total for the two rounds (1/2 per round).\n\nThose who shoot a .410 (2 1/2 inch shell) for both rounds will get 3 bonus points total  (1 1/2 per round).\n\nThese bonus points are to offset the smaller pattern and number of pellets in those guns.\n\nOne bonus bird will also be offered to any shooter 18 year old or younger and another point to anyone who has never before competed in a registered clay bird competition.\n\nThese can be added so if you are 18\, never shot in competition before and use a .410 for the event you start the rounds with  5 birds.\n\nAwards will be provided to first\, second\, and third place finishers after the last relay.\n\nRegister at the skeet house at 11:30am. Orientation at 11:45am\, start at noon. Squadding will be at the time of registration so if you are sharing a shotgun both shooters should try to register at the same time.\n\nAlex\nDecath Chair
