Long time DCF&S member,  Bill Luttrell passed away on Good Friday, April 7th.  Bill was a cornerstone of The Shotgun Hill for many years and will be fondly remembered for his contributions to his country and to the shooting sports that he loved so dearly.

William Albert Luttrell, 81, of West Bradford Township, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at Pocopson Home, West Chester.  Born in Ashtabula, OH, William was the son of the late Earl and Evelyn (Luke) Luttrell. He was the husband of Susan Kay Luttrell. The couple shared almost 50 years of marriage.

William proudly served in the United States Navy. He was a “Plank Owner” on the USS Constellation aircraft carrier, and a member of the United States Navy Shooting Team. Later in life, William was a member of the Delaware County Field & Stream Association, where he enjoyed skeet-shooting. William was a loving husband and father.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by his son, Christopher Jennings Luttrell, of Downingtown, sister, Carol Luttrell Chesnet (Don Chesnet), niece, Gina Chesnet Milana (Doug Milana), great niece, Anastacia Milana, niece Dawn Chesnet vonBerg (Chris vonBerg), great nephew, Gavin vonBerg and great niece, Alexa vonBerg.  

Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in William’s name may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson’s Research.
