Fall 2026 – Introduction to 5-Stand Clinic
Ready to learn one of the fastest-growing shotgun games?
If you’ve mastered Table Trap, Trap, Skeet, or even spend your fall chasing upland birds, you’re already on your way to enjoying 5-Stand. This clinic is designed to help experienced shotgun shooters transition their existing skills to one of the most exciting and challenging shotgun disciplines.
Please Note: This is not a beginner shotgun safety or shooting clinic. Participants should already be comfortable safely handling and shooting a shotgun.
Over two consecutive Saturday mornings, you’ll learn the fundamentals of 5-Stand in the classroom and then immediately apply those concepts on the range. The second session builds on the first, giving you the opportunity to develop confidence and improve your skills with instructor guidance.
What You’ll Learn
- Understanding 5-Stand terminology and game procedures
- Preparing for each target presentation in the shooting stand
- Identifying:
- Hold points
- Break points
- Visual (focal) points
- Techniques for shooting report pairs and true pairs
- Strategies for specialty target presentations, including:
- Teal
- Chandelle
- Battue
- Rabbit
Whether your goal is to try something new or become more competitive in shotgun sports, this clinic will give you the knowledge and confidence to get started.
