The high power range will be holding a military rifle shoot on the morning of Sunday, September 14 from 9AM through Noon.

Competitors will use military-surplus rifles and commercial copies of them. Rifles are broken into three classes: Issue sights, non-issue sights and AR-platform rifles. All sights must be iron/open sights. No scopes or red dots.

Issue and non-issue sight rifles will shoot 10 shots for record at an 8″ target placed at 100 yards. AR-platform rifles will shoot 10 shots for record at a 5″ target placed at 100 yards. All shots are from the bench with front and rear rests. Unlimited sighters.

We have military rifles (1903, 1903-A3. M1 Garand and AR-15) you can borrow but you’ll need to provide your own .30-06 or 5.56×45 ammunition (for sale in the club office).

Cost is $5 per rifle.
