Ten (10) Boy Scouts and four (4) leaders from Aston Troop 225 were the latest scouts to enjoy a weekend camping trip on DCF&S property. Taking advantage of perfect weather, the scouts enjoyed practicing their camping and cooking skills in the area behind the Ed Martin House and then were broken into smaller groups and rotated across three shooting ranges: Table Trap, Archery and Rimfire. For some, it was their first shooting experiences! And all agreed it was a fantastic day of learning the excitement of the shooting sports.

In the spirit of doing good deeds, the scouts formed a work party and helped to do some planting, trimming and general landscaping maintenance. A perfect example of a Win – Win weekend!
