DCFSA 2025 Fall Trap League

Published November 10, 2025

The DCFSA 2025 Fall Trap League had a great turn out this season.

We had 40 participants with 8 full squads. We ran 7 weeks with 6 shooting days. Shooters were challenged with 16-yard singles as well as 23-yard handicap.  Everyone was permitted to throw out their lowest scores at each distance.

The league is a non-competitive effort to promote trap shooting, encourage new shooters to come out and try the sport while establishing a sense of confidence in shooting with the hopes that new shooters will add trap shooting to their preferred activities at DCFSA.

We run 2-3 Trap Leagues per season as well as the club championship at the end of each year and Green Bird Shoots when we can work them in.

The Trap Fields are typically open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays by volunteers from Noon to 3pm. You are encouraged to call the office before coming up on those days. Trap Fields are open on the weekends: Saturday  from 9am – 4pm and Sunday Noon – 4pm.
