Donald M. Tillman II, 84, of Media, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on August 13th, 2026.
His final days were spent surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born at Crozer hospital on November 26, 1941 to his parents Donald and Edith Tillman. Donald grew up in Media, Pennsylvania where he attended Media High School and graduated in 1960.
After high school, Donald went on to marry his sweetheart Betsy in 1962. They met each other in kindergarten and would go on to be happily married for 65 years! After High School, Donald enlisted in the US Army and served overseas in Germany. He worked on helicopters and other aircraft at Echterdingen Airfield. Donald and Betsy’s first son, Donnie was born during their time in Germany. Upon returning to the states, Donald worked in the automotive business. Donald and Betsy had three more children; Bobby, Betsy, and Kimberly. He then eventually went on to work for his father in law at Hammond & Co Plumbing. After falling in love with the trade, Donald started a plumbing business of his own with his son Donnie. The family business eventually brought in his son Bobby and grandson Cam. As a team, they would go on to create a friendly and reliable plumbing business that is a staple in Delaware County.
Outside of work, Donald kept busy with his many hobbies and passions. He spent his time hunting, water skiing, riding motorcycles with his wife Betsy, spending time with his family, keeping his lawn pristine, and telling stories to anyone who would listen. Donald and Betsy traveled the country on their motorcycles, where they were life members of HOG and the Gold Wing Road Riders. He loved to share his passion for the outdoors with his friends and family.
Donald would love to talk about hunting, fishing, and trapping, often spending a lot of his time at Delaware County Field and Stream. He was also a member of the George Bartram Paul Sand Lodge #298 where he was a Past Master.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Edith, and his children Betsy and Bobby. Donald is survived by his wife, Betsy, his son Donnie, his daughter Kimberly Cooper (Mike), grandchildren Tyler, Cam, Katie, Hunter, and Shelby, and his great-grandchildren Layla and Estelle.
