On Saturday July 13, the Skeet Decathlon Low Gun Challenge was held. In American Skeet competitions the gun can be pre-mounted. But international rules require that the gun be held lower, which is more akin to hunting conditions.

Many club shooters had to practice and in some cases shooting improved!

For this event the “Low gun” rule was relaxed a bit, after all these are Fun Shoots.

Two rounds were shot with John Storch winning the Maple Syrup, Rick Egick coming in second with a box of shells, and Jay Brower rounding out for third.
